These Black Ribbon Keepsake Urns are produced by a very unique process called ‘lamp working,’ this is where an artist will work the delicate glass over intense heat provided by a small flame sitting underneath the glass.

The artist will be blowing and shaping the glass piece to the desired shape and style and also they will be adding some beautiful colors to the glass as they work with it. The Black Ribbon Keepsake Urns are so special because they are all hand blown and so much care and attention to detail is taken during the process.

A black ribbon has always been associated with loss but black ribbons are also representative of a person’s fight against disease.

The top of the piece is threaded by using a mold; this is to ensure that the chrome closure on this artistic urn makes a perfect fit. The chrome which is used is a non-corrosive material.

Every single pendant which is produced is an individual and unique piece therefore the sizes will vary from pendant to pendant but approximately they will measure 1 ½” x ¾” and be threaded onto a luxurious black satin cord. These pendants boast a simple design but a truly beautiful one worn with pride and love as a memory for a loved one or as a personal reminder of the brave battle fought each and every day.

The truly endearing feature about these pendants is that when they are worn they actually sit next to the wearer’s heart adding that extra personal touch.

Included with these black urns there is a gift box, a small funnel and a tube of adhesive.
