Industry standard for choosing an urn size is to allow one cubic inch of space for each one pound of weight the deceased last weighed.

For Example:

A child or pet who weighed 40 lbs before cremation would require an urn which held 40 cubic inches or more.
An adult who weighed 240 lbs before cremation would require an urn which held 240 cubic inches or more.

Companion Cremation Urns - The heart shaped base of the Classic Companion Bronze Cremation Urns has been lovingly engraved completely by hand, the black pattern outlines the shape of both of the individual hearts with them interlocking with one another in the center of the base. The measurements of the base are 17” in width x 9” in depth.

These beautiful urns are 210 cubic inches and measure 10½” x 6½” they have a simple appearance coupled with a smooth finish, three slim black lines encircle the urns and these are the only decorative features on the urns themselves. They possess a stunningly simple air about them that works beautifully as the urns are exceedingly elegant and exquisite.

The bronze coloring works impeccably with the contrasting black lines and also the black engraving on the heart shaped base. These two colors look wonderful together and the whole effect is very aesthetically pleasing.

These are solid brass urns and are extremely durable. Sitting on the top of the urns are screw on lids which have a very basic design and are plain bronze as well.
