The Classic Engraved Pewter Cremation Urn measures 9” x 5½ ” and is 160 cubic inches and has a brass, satin pewter finish with a beautifully engraved border.
The border encircles the cremation urn at the top and bottom and is also on the urn’s lid. This border is situated on the outer rim leaving a plain pewter piece in the center of the lid. The borders are edged with black margin lines and consist of an intricate pattern of fancy flowers and leaves.
Resembling a star the main part of the flower has four larger petals with four smaller petals sitting behind them, the background used on all of the borders is black which compliments the silver coloration of the pewter beautifully. The urn has a dull sheen rather than a shiny polished finish which lends an almost ‘dated’ look to its finished appearance to suit the urn perfectly.
As the name suggests this is a classic urn with an especially classic shape. There are no fancy pieces or major features which serve to make the urn particularly unique. The modesty and simplicity of the urn add to its overall appeal. The decorative borders do not take away the pure and raw beauty from the urn, instead they tend to highlight and accentuate it.
