Cloisonne Cremation Urns: China Series Pink
This time-honored process originated in Beijing in the 12th century. Tiny copper filigree partitions are created on brass urns through a process of soldering and heating. Enamel glaze is hand painted into each partition and kiln fired, a process repeated several times until the surface is smooth. Each funeral urn is then ground, polished and finally electroplated with a thin coating of gold creating an elegant finish.
Our China Series urns for cremation features a screw-on top and will include a Velour presentation bag.
Each cloisonné urn comes with a carved and laquered wooden base. The base is approximately 1½" high and is already added to the height listed for each urn.
