The Ebony Baroque Glass Keepsake Urn is a beautiful tiny replica of the main cremation urn of the same series. It comes displayed in an exquisite plush velvet gift box which has been lovingly shaped into a romantic heart. The gift box measures 4¾” x 4¾” x 2¾” and the keepsake urn measures 2¾” in height with a volume of 3 cubic inches.
Produced from hand-cut art glass the design on this perfect miniature is striking, there are diamond shaped pieces covering the main body of the keepsake. The shapes are big at the top of the urn and then when they begin to reach the base they taper out and become much smaller diamond shapes. There is a soft glow to the tiny work of art and the design almost appears to be set in a dreamy haze. The pattern stops as the main section of the piece becomes the beautifully sculptured neckline of the urn.
There is a plain silver band encircling the base which has been produced from brass and given a lovely silver finish. The beauty of the base having this plain finishing touch is that it lends a reflective appearance to this tiny piece adding to its charm.
Keepsake urns can be used for a number of items including cremains, some dried flowers, or perhaps a lock of hair. These can be added via a small funnel.
