Industry standard for choosing an urn size is to allow one cubic inch of space for each one pound of weight the deceased last weighed.

For Example:

A child or pet who weighed 40 lbs before cremation would require an urn which held 40 cubic inches or more.
An adult who weighed 240 lbs before cremation would require an urn which held 240 cubic inches or more.

The Ginger Jar Black Marbled Pet Cremation Urns are available in two sizes which are small and large. The measurements for the small size are 5” in height and are suitable for a pet up to 30 lbs while the large size stands 9¼” tall and is suitable for a pet up to 115 lbs.

They are both top loading and due to them being produced from genuine marble no two urns will be the same which adds a more personal touch to each and every individual one made. The color of the cremation urns is jet black with the marbled effect being created by the silver/white color; they are striking in their appearance.
