Industry standard for choosing an urn size is to allow one cubic inch of space for each one pound of weight the deceased last weighed.

For Example:

A child or pet who weighed 40 lbs before cremation would require an urn which held 40 cubic inches or more.
An adult who weighed 240 lbs before cremation would require an urn which held 240 cubic inches or more.

Presented in a beautifully plush velvet heart shaped case the Gold Leaf Marble Patina Keepsake stands just 2¾” tall and has a volume of 3 cubic inches, the display case measures 4¾” x 4¾” x 2¾” and is a rich burgundy color.

The design on the keepsake is exquisite and even more so because everything is in miniature in comparison to its bigger Gold Leaf Brass Urn adult size version. An attractive charcoal gray color sets the background which has been blended with flecks of light gray to create a marbled look; due to the background color being dark any design work completed against it will be highlighted and displayed to its sheer beauty.

The centerpiece on the urn shows a row of delicate leaves in gold which almost depict an autumnal atmosphere with their golden tones. This center design is beautifully framed by a border of scalloped edges and to either side of these borders sits another design of fancy leaves on a gold and gray background.

There are several gold bands encircling the cremation urn and at the top and bottom of the piece there are smaller leaves. The urn’s lid has an elaborate leaf design on it and a plain gold band on the outer edge.

Keepsake urns are wonderful as they are so dainty but also so versatile, they can take some cremains from your loved one added through a small funnel or some dried flowers if you prefer.
