Green, White & Red Ribbon Keepsake Urns

A technique called ‘lamp working’ has been applied to produce the Green, White and Red Ribbon Keepsake Urn, the process involves the artist working the glass over a small flame of intense heat. The piece of glass is shaped and blown until it has reached the desired form; any required colors are also added during the lamp working process.

To thread the top of the keepsake a mold is used to ensure that the non-corrosive closure which is made from chrome will fit perfectly.

A black satin cord is threaded through the final product and although each one is an individual and no two will be the same they are approximately 1½” to 1¾” in their length. The really genuine and appealing point to a keepsake pendant is that your loved one can be close to your heart when you are wearing it.

The keepsake comes presented in a charming and quaint gift box and includes a small funnel which is to be used for adding a small amount of your loved one’s cremains to the keepsake. Other items which can be placed in the little keepsake urn are some beautiful dried flowers or a treasured lock of hair. There is also a tube of adhesive included with the urn.

There are several countries which are represented by the green, red and white colors and they are: Abkhazia, Algeria, Belarus, Bulgaria, Burundi, Hungary, Iran, Italy, Lebanon, Madagascar, Maldives, Mexico and with other color symbols both Oman and Wales.

This is a dainty and petite pendant with a very special and personal meaning to the wearer.
