They may be paired with metal for a modern look, carved for a sweet or angelic look, or stylized into nearly any shape you desire. Our marble urns are ideal for indoor display and may be used for home, office, or public memorial purposes.
A Memorial Tradition
If you have walked through a historic cemetery then you have noticed the old marble memorials that were predominantly used prior to the 1960's. Most popularly used due to its soft nature, marble is a material that can be easily shaped by master craftsmen. And, while it is easily shaped and beautiful to display, the material does require some special attention.
How to Care for Marble
Marble is a soft and sensitive material that requires low maintenance. However, when maintenance is required, special precautions should be taken.
- Marble is easily weathered and stained. For ultimate material performance, please use your marble urn for indoor display only as the natural elements found outside will cause weathering to occur. It is also important to keep your marble urn a safe distance from any acids (including household acids such as citric acid or vinegar), cleaners, or oils.
- If a light dusting is in order, it is recommended to use a soft micro-fiber cloth that will attract and remove dust particles. It is important to note that even a light film of dirt can act as an abrasive to your marble urn so please refrain from rubbing the urn as it may cause scratching.
- If the urn requires a stronger cleaning than the mico-fiber cloth allows, it is recommended that only water be used. Simply rinse the urn off, cleanse with a soft cloth, and completely dry with a soft sham or towel. It is also important to note that, while our lid does provide secure sealing, it may not prevent moisture from seeping into the urn. Therefore, it is recommended that you remove all ashes and any keepsakes prior to rinsing the urn.
Available in single, companion, and keepsake sizes, our marble cremation urns are available for human and pet uses alike. Each of our marble urns is designed to be easily filled with ashes or other small tokens of love and comes standard with a lid for securing. Our marble urns may also be personalized by adding one of our special medallion or name plates.
